Kyle is President of WAY Capital. Previously, Kyle was a founding Principal of Orion Real Estate Partners after focusing on debt and equity placement at HFF in Los Angeles.

Before joining HFF, Kyle was a Senior Vice President at George Smith Partners, a Los Angeles based real estate capital advisory firm, where he was responsible for underwriting, structuring/due diligence activities, and market research related to seeking the optimal capital course for commercial real estate transactions. Areas of expertise include joint venture and preferred equity advisory as well and permanent, bridge, and mezzanine financing.

Prior to joining George Smith Partners in 2014, Kyle was an Underwriting Associate at MIG Real Estate, a Newport Beach family office with over $2 billion of assets under management. Kyle was responsible for underwriting investment opportunities throughout the Western United States for all property types.

Before joining MIG Real Estate in 2012, Kyle was a member of the KPMG Germany, Corporate Finance – Real Estate practice based in the Frankfurt and Düsseldorf offices. Kyle began his real estate career in KPMG’s Economic Valuation Services practice based in the San Diego and Chicago offices.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children.
